People at Work Assessment
What prevents good people from doing good work in your business? People get tired. Job satisfaction falls. Good employees disengage or leave.
These may involve HR, but their causes can lie elsewhere in the organisation.
Sometimes the problem is much more ordinary: workloads that cannot be completed within reasonable working hours on a good day, unclear priorities, unnecessary work, processes that get in the way, responsibility without enough authority, poor communication, lack of autonomy, or people feeling that they have little influence over their work or future—sometimes compounding one another.
The People at Work Assessment finds out what makes it harder than it should be for people to do their jobs well.
We talk with management and selected employees and, where appropriate, use Work Obstacle Discovery Sessions to uncover problems that are easily missed—including those that fall between processes, responsibilities and management systems.
Then we work through the findings with management and decide what happens next. Some need action now. Some belong in an existing plan or roadmap. Some may not justify action. What matters is making the decision, assigning responsibility where needed, and closing the loop with the people involved.
